Populace Coffee Brand

Starting in 2010, Populace’s mission was a simple one: Bring third wave coffee to the people, without pretension, or tasting bias. Creating this brand needed to be simple, straightforward, and without leaning on current branding trends.

What was established for Populace was a clean black and white mark that could be the firm background of a very bright and primary color pallet.

The illustration of the people lining the bottom of the  bag represent Popuace's mission of creating great coffee for everyone. Great coffee should be accessible to anyone who is curious about it. Coffee for anyone.

With a playful look and feel to it’s coffee bag labels, product photography and brand voice through social media videos, Populace carved out a relatable, informative and slightly left of center coffee brand to help bring more people under the rich and delicious world of third wave coffee.
